Louva-a-deus-flor


Louva-a-deus-flor (Creobroter gemmatus) nativo da Ásia; este animal fantástico é encontrado normalmente  sobre flores, onde eles conseguem se camuflar e esperar pela presa. O macho cresce cerca de 4 cm, enquanto a fêmea é um pouco maior; há presença de canibalismo na espécie. Ao se sentir ameaçado, ele pode abrir as asas e mostrar uma diversidade de cores, que pode assustar seu predador e dar tempo para o Louva-a-deus fugir.

Indian flower mantis (Creobroter gemmatus) native to Asia, this amazing animal is normally found on top of flowers where they can camouflage themselves and wait for their prey. The male grows about 2 inches, while the female is slightly larger; there is the presence of cannibalism in this species. When it feels threatened, it can spread their wings and show a diversity of colors, which may scare the predator and allow time for the mantis to escape.
